Cantaloupe-Jalapeno Freeze

Ingredients

  • 4 cups chopped cantaloupe
  • 5 basil leaves plus more for garnish
  • 1 medium jalapeño pepper, seeded and chopped
  • 1 cup vodka
  • 2 cups Champagne or other sparkling wine
  • ½ cup lemon juice
  • 4 cups ice

Instructions

Arrange cantaloupe on a baking sheet and place in freezer for 30 minutes. Combine cantaloupe with other ingredients in a high-powered blender for about 30 seconds, until smooth.
