- ¼ cup fennel seed
- ¼ cup crushed dried lemon or orange peel
- 2 tablespoons cumin seed
- 1 cup sea salt (or kosher salt)

- ¼ cup dried parsley
- ¼ cup dried oregano
- ¼ cup onion powder
- ¼ cup garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons paprika

We use this zesty mixture to season meat for grilling, veggies for roasting and for seasoning everything from popcorn to scrambled eggs.
Pulse fennel seed, lemon peel and cumin seed in a spice grinder until finely ground. Transfer to a bowl and add remaining ingredients. Stir until well combined, then divide among jars. Mixture will keep, at room temperature in an airtight container, for up to 6 months.
