Cast-Iron Deep-Dish Pizza

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375°. Lightly oil a 12-inch cast-iron pan. Roll out bottom dough and press into pan and up the side edges to overhang rim of the pan slightly. Arrange your favorite pizza toppings and generously cover with cheese. Roll out second ball of dough into a 12-inch round and place over the filling. Pinch dough together with your fingers all around the edge, keeping a ridge on the outside of pan. Spoon red sauce over top of pizza and spread it to the edges. Bake for about 35 to 40 minutes.
